How it works

01

Select your clips

In the Studio editor, browse your library of clips generated with Live Portrait. Filter by tags to quickly find the right sequences. Click a clip to add it to the storyboard.

You can filter by tags to quickly find your clips.

02

Add title cards (optional)

Insert text screens between your clips to structure your project: title, chapter, quote… Choose the background color, text size (small, standard, large) and display duration (1 to 10 s). A real-time preview is shown in the modal.

Title cards are rendered with the Inter font; text adapts automatically to light or dark backgrounds.

03

Order the storyboard

Drag and drop clips and title cards in the desired order directly on the timeline. The order determines the final sequence of your video.

Drag & drop works on both desktop and tablet.

04

Choose transitions

For each segment, select the transition applied before the next one: 9 available styles, from a straight cut to a directional slide. Each style gives a different feel to your project.

Crossfade and light leak are ideal for cinematic projects.

05

Add music (optional)

Choose background music from the library or skip this step for a silent render. Adjust the relative volume between the music and original tracks.

Music is automatically mixed across the full duration of the project.

06

Preview or render

Click "Preview" to generate a quick preview without spending credits. Once satisfied, launch the final render. Processing is asynchronous: you can close the tab and come back to check the result in your project list.

Preview is free and unlimited — test as many times as you want before rendering.

Tips for better results

✂️

Straight cut

Direct transition with no effect. Ideal for a fast, dynamic pace.

Fade to black

The clip gradually darkens, then the next one fades in. Time-passing effect.

Fade to white

Same as fade to black but through a bright white flash. Dream or flash effect.

🔀

Crossfade

Both clips overlap simultaneously in a mutual fade. Smooth transition, ideal for a cinematic result.

Light leak

Transition with a film-style light halo. Gives a warm, vintage effect.

⬅️

Slide left

The next clip enters from the right and pushes the current one to the left.

➡️

Slide right

The next clip enters from the left and pushes the current one to the right.

⬆️

Slide up

The next clip enters from the bottom and pushes the current one upward.

⬇️

Slide down

The next clip enters from the top and pushes the current one downward.

Frequently asked questions

How many clips can I add to a project?

The storyboard is limited to 30 segments (clips + title cards). A message will inform you if you exceed this limit.

How many credits does a render cost?

2 credits per video clip included in the project (minimum 1 credit). Text title cards do not consume credits. The total cost is shown before launching the render.

Does the preview consume credits?

No. Preview is completely free and unlimited. It generates a low-resolution preview to validate your project before the final render.

Can I edit a project after rendering?

Yes. The project draft is kept independently of the render. You can edit the timeline and launch a new render at any time.

Is the project saved automatically?

Yes. The draft is automatically saved in your browser (localStorage) with a 7-day TTL, and synced with your account on every change.

What audio formats are accepted for music?

The built-in music library offers royalty-free tracks ready to use. You cannot yet import your own audio files — this feature is planned.
